Last week Jordan went outside in the backyard and noticed a bird flying out of our BBQ. He lifted the lid and found a giant nest that filled the entire grill. There were 5 little blue eggs inside. Yesterday we heard chirping and peeked in and saw 4 baby birds with mouths wide open. There's still one egg left so we'll see what happens. Hopefully we don't scare the mother away. I guess we won't be BBQing for awhile.

Interesting place for a nest. Good thing you found them before lighting the grill.
Crazy! That is a huge nest!
Poor babies! I wonder what happens if you move the nest? If they were in my grill, my kids would be feeding them fritos by now!
